There are areas where the Bormax® 2.0 reaches its limits. Because it is only conditionally suitable for exotic hardwoods, coated boards and plastics. We have developed the TCT Bormax³ Prima for all those who have to process exactly these materials and do not want to miss the advantages of the Bormax® 2.0 Prima.
Thanks to its high quality TCT (carbide tipped) and the exchangeable centre point the TCT Bormax³ Prima can be used just like a conventional Forstner bit. In a different way from a standard Forstner bit you will not experience a “smoking“ or “burning“ at TCT Bormax³ Prima.
Exchange the centre point with the pre-drill and you will be able to spot-drill your wood surfaces in almost all angles, without gliding off. Drilling on the edge of the workpiece is also perfectly possible.
Especially for drillings in wood grain with rings that are differently hard, we recommend to exchange the centre point with the pre-drill for better guiding.
The hexagonal shank avoids turning in the drill chuck. The TCT Bormax³ Prima can be used at high speeds and thus enables efficient working at the highest level.
The TCT Bormax³ Prima is manufactured in Remscheid and is therefore a real "Made in Germany" tool. Due to its unique selling points it belongs to the DELTA-F family of FAMAG.
